Bookish Advent Calendars sound amazing but they can be quite pricey. Fear not, why miss out when you could curate your own?
I've been making my own advent calendars for years now and early preparation is the key!
During January to September, wrap up any books that you buy. You'll be surprised at how quick you can accumulate 24 books! Enjoy opening them during December.
Buy a roll of Kraft paper, simple wrapping goes a long way!
Give a friend your budget and a mission to buy some books for your advent calendar. I did this once and it was so much fun to see what she thought i would love reading!
Buy all 12 or 24 books from charity shops! Use websites like World of Books, that sell secondhand books or Bookswap where you can swap your books instead.
Instead of books, create a bookmark calendar. Print and laminate your own or find amazing deals on Etsy.
