Welcome to Prose Before!

Hello, welcome to our first ever Prose Before Hoes blog post!

Prose Before Hoes (also known as Prose Before or PBH) is a female led digital magazine that focuses on all things bookish.

The idea for PBH started in early October and, before we knew it, a small team of 5 book loving women expanded into a huge group of over 15 friends excited to release bookish content. Check out our next blog post to meet everyone!

Our Aims

We aim – and promise - to deliver high quality, diverse and inclusive content that is engaging, informative and, above all, fun to read!

From January we will be publishing a monthly digital magazine full of exciting bookish content. You’ll find reviews, bookish hints and tips, commentary on current topics, recommendations, and so much more.

To accompany this we will produce at least three blog posts a week which cover a whole range of topics to compliment the magazine. Our blog posts begin publishing from today – so you don’t have to wait until next year to get your bookish fix!

Our Values

Our aims make it clear what we value: diversity and inclusivity. We embrace and celebrate everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, race, religion, or culture. We believe that all people should be unapologetically true to themselves; everyone is welcomed and loved just as they are. This will be evident in our content, as we will show continual support for the LGBTQI+ community, the Black Lives Matter movement, intersectional feminism, all religions, races and cultures, all minorities, and so many more groups and people!

So finally, thank you from all of us at Prose Before Hoes for being here at the start of our exciting journey.

Amy Executive Writer, Editor and Administrator.
